Episode Two: STEVE

SYNOPSIS: 

Larry set out to fulfill the final wishes of his recently deceased friend, Steve, by driving far out into the mountains to release Steve's ashes in a peaceful resting place.  But when Larry unknowingly makes a stop at the devious Ivy's room to rest for the night, his plan quickly goes awry. 

 

CAST:

KATE SIEPERT (Jehovah’s Witness #1)

 

Kate Siepert is a New York based actress, classically trained in the UK and comedically trained in Chicago.  Theatrically, Kate has worked regionally across the eastern seaboard for the last few years since arriving in New York City in 2008. Besides getting to spread God's word on Disturbances, she is also very proud to be seen on the small interweb-series, With Friends Like These, where she she played the small role of Debra and the bigger offscreen role as the Production Manger for WFLT's 1st season. CARLEY COLBERT (Jehovah’s Witness #2)

 

Carley Colbert received her Theatre degree from SUNY New Paltz.  She spent a semester studying with the Accademia dell'Arte where she fell in love with physical theatre.  Carley has performed in numerous productions including "Are Your There Zeus, It's Me Electra," at the Bleeker Street Theatre, "The Flowers of Fantastico" with FringeNYC and participated in a staged reading of The Hunting of the Snark at The Players.  Carley can be seen participating in interactive theatre such as Therapeutic Clowning with her fellow Medical Clowns.

 

 

PARVATI (Ivy)

 

Parvati's theatre credits include Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Marion Hollander in Don’t Drink the Water, Joan in Dames at Sea, and Mrs. Railton-Bell in Separate Tables.  She started acting again in 2011 after taking a 30 year break to pursue other interests and since then has played lead and support roles in independent films and shorts, TV shows, web series and music videos.

ARTIE BRENNAN (Larry

 

Artie studied acting at NYU, Improv & Sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade, and writing at The People's Improv Theater & UCB. On your TV or iPad, he has appeared in several commercials and in Showtime's "The Affair", Nat Geo's "American Genius", and Comedy Central's "The Onion Sports Dome". Artie has also had roles in numerous indie films including the cult horror film "Plasterhead". Live and filmed sketch comedy is where he is most at home, working on every major stage in NYC (with The Grape Dutches of York and as a guest with several other sketch groups). Artie performed improv in over 100 shows with The Red Tie Mafia in a dank, stank basement of a bar on Manhattan's west side, and opened Monolodge's Tribute to DeNiro at this years Tribeca Film Festival.As a writer/director Artie's latest project "Gowanus Galapagos", a nature mockumentary, was a top ten pick in National Geographic's Wild to Inspire.

 

 

JASON MESSINA (Steve)

 

Currently a graphics artist for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Jason has worked as a freelance motion graphics/editor/compositor for various TV shows including Ugly Americans, T.I. Holiday Hustle, and Nikki & Sara LIVE. In addition, he heads the PIT TV comedy team WATERBIRTH, and writes and performs monthly with UNISEX, the sketch group he co-founded. Before that he worked for several years as a graphic designer. Full time as the head designer for the pet store chain Doggiestyle, and on a freelance basis building brand identity for businesses in Philadelphia. When not working, he writes and directs original comedy shorts for his comedy channel Sure Thing Chief!
